Polar Plunge! This event raises money for the
Special Olympics. ISU has an amazing special education program, and a large
population of students who would be interested in this topic. I live in a
themed living/learning community in Hewett; the Special Education floor. Many
of the residents on my floor, including myself, have signed up for Polar Plunge
Bloomington.
3. I am working with newspaper articles.
We've already talked about how this is a great topic--and one that's relevant because the event is coming up. YOu seem to already know how you want to localize the story. However, the second and third articles you posted--while usable for other information--are not necessarily news articles as one is from the polar plunge website (hence a bias) and the other is simply a blog. Let me know if you have any other questions.
